I woke up friday afternoon and switched to Nat Geo's How Hard Can It Be? While watching, I noticed that my right eye was still twitching. I don't wear glasses at home but I decided to wear them though just to test if it will lessen the twitching but it still does even with my glasses on. Natulog nalang ulit ako, hay naku! After an hour of sleep, I couldn't feel the twitching anymore. Yeyz! My eyes just needed more rest nga siguro. At dahil napahinga na siya, I played Tetris next hahaha. Ayun! after 5 minutes the twitching started again, haaaaay nemeyn! Tigas kasi ng ulo! Ayan tuloy, it won't stop until now, which brought me to making research about Twitching Eye instead.
On my trawling, I found some helpful stuff and blog post by some who unfortunately experiencing the same. And also, some funny chinese beliefs about eye twitch which I won't go much further anymore. I just went through it yun lang. And I'm definitely sure that this doesn't have anything to do with "someone is thinking about me"... Errr! or "a happy event awaits me"or lahat ng related to a twitching right eyelid, bilang 2 days na 'tong tremors na ito and alam ko namang dahil sa stress and Tetris ito haha. And most of all, I'm not Chinese, ang laki kaya ng mata ko!
Well, anyway...
According to Mayo Clinic.com :
"Eye twitching is an involuntary movement of the eyelid every few seconds over the course of minute or two. It can come and go unpredictably for a few days, weeks or months. It don't hurt but they can be annoying. It is often caused by stress, fatigue, too much caffeine, smoking, physical exertion and lack of sleep. It its common form, which is harmless, eye twitching stops on its own, although it may recur occasionally. Very rarely, it maybe a sign of certain brain and nerve disorders such as Bell's Palsy, Parkinsonism and Tourette Syndrome."Hoh my gawwd, Tourette Syndrome and Parkinsonism? What?! CHARLIE!
Good thing I only got minor twitches that don't require treatment as they resolve spontaneously sabi ng University of Michigan, Kellogg Eye Center.
"Reducing stress, using warm soaks, or correction of any refractive error may help and reduce caffeine usage."It must be the coffee and smoking. Nyahaha and stress, malamang and lack of sleep and lahat na. Seems that everything about my work are all potential causes of eye twitch, ano ba naman!!! Even my Tetris addiction, tsk! Ano nalang ang matitirang gagawin ko, aber?!
Ayokong maging kirat, noooooooooooo!
Matutulog na nga ko eh, eto na! Go!
Happy New Year to my kahon! Good Morning :)))
